OmniStar Ethics, the platform for NSW Health’s Research Ethics and Governance Information System (REGIS)

F1 Solutions has been awarded the contract to build NSW Health’s research ethics compliance and governance management system. The REGIS program will be delivered on F1 Solutions Software as a Service (SaaS) platform, OmniStar Ethics. OmniStar Ethics is part of F1 Solutions OmniStar product suite which also includes OmniStar Grants and OmniStar Research. Our suite of OmniStar products, offers exceptional architecture that satisfies a range of business needs as the features are able to be mixed and matched via configuration across the entire product family.

REGIS’s implementation is slated for late-2017, and will replace the existing Australian Research Ethics Database (AU RED) and Online Forms across all NSW Public Health Organisations (PHO). Our OmniStar Ethics platform simplifies research ethics management at every stage of the process and REGIS is expected to be able to manage multi-site projects as well as those involving National Mutual Acceptance (NMA).

Gustad Boman, Director F1 Solutions, says, "NSW Health should be commended for selecting a solution that gives them the platform for taking on the leadership position in attracting clinical research investment in NSW. Best of all it is an Australian product and solution, which means the economic and upskilling benefits remain in Australia."
